Each answer slot can hold a group of accepted spellings. The first one you type is what gets shown to the player on the reveal screen, and every other entry in that group is an accepted alias. Example: a Game answer of "Donkey Kong Country" with an alias "DKC" lets a player type either one.
Small connecting words are stripped before matching, so players never have to type them and they fill in for free on partial reveals. The current list is: the, a, an, of, in, on, at, to, by, for, from, as, into, onto, via, per, with, and, vs, feat, ft, featuring, &.
Capitalization, punctuation, and word order are also ignored, so "Ambience, Aquatic" still matches "Aquatic Ambience".
Most categories forgive minor typos. A guess that is roughly 85% similar to an accepted answer (after fillers are removed) is counted as correct, so "Acquatic Ambience" still lands on "Aquatic Ambience".
Lenient (typos forgiven): Game Name, Track Name, Composer/Ripper, Reference/Joke.
Strict (must be near-exact): Platform and Developer. These only accept an exact match to one of your spellings, so list every form a player might use as an alias (for example "SNES" and "Super Nintendo").
On the lenient categories, typing only some of the words in a longer answer counts as a partial hit and reveals those words, nudging the player toward the rest. Numbers are treated loosely, so "Sonic 2" against "Sonic" registers as a near miss rather than dead wrong.
Put the cleanest, most recognizable spelling first since that is what players see. Add aliases for abbreviations, alternate region names, romanizations, and common shorthand. For Platform and Developer especially, more aliases means fewer frustrated players, because those fields do not forgive typos.

By Pack Count evenly divides into stated number of packs. By Pack Duration targets a per-pack runtime. Pack count is auto-calculated. Either way, each difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard / Joke) is distributed evenly across all packs and the total duration is balanced via greedy assignment so the last pack isn't smaller than the rest.
